Where do OriginTours tours start?
Most of our day trips start in Lisbon, and many include pickup in Lisbon. Walking tours in Sintra, Nazaré, Mafra and Tomar start at a meeting point in town. The exact pickup or meeting point is confirmed with your booking.
What language are the tours in?
Our tours are guided live in English. If you need another language, ask us when you send your request.
Can I book a private tour?
Yes. Tell us your dates, your group and the places you would like to see on the "Plan a private tour" page and we will send you a proposal.
Are the tours wheelchair accessible?
Each tour page shows whether the tour is wheelchair accessible. Walking tours on uneven paths and the sunrise hike are not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
Does sending a request confirm my booking?
A booking request is the start of the conversation. We check your preferred date, group and options, then confirm the price and conditions. Your booking is confirmed only when the agreed confirmation steps are completed.
What is included in the price?
Inclusions depend on the experience and selected option. Your proposal sets out the guide, transport, tickets, tastings or other services that are included, together with any extras. A “from” price is a starting price, not a quote for every group.
Are the experiences suitable for children or limited mobility?
Some routes involve steps, steep lanes, uneven ground or long periods of walking. Tell us the ages of children and any mobility or accessibility needs before booking, so we can assess the actual route and suggest suitable options.
What happens if the weather changes?
Outdoor routes, coastal conditions and island weather may require changes. We discuss any necessary adjustments according to the booked experience and its conditions. Natural phenomena, including giant waves, are never guaranteed.
How do cancellations or changes work?
Cancellation and change conditions are provided with your proposal or selected booking option. Read them before confirming, especially when tickets or third-party services are involved. Contact us with your booking reference if your plans change.
Can you plan corporate or special group experiences?
Share the occasion, approximate group size, dates and goals. We can prepare a proposal for a corporate visit, team-building day or special celebration, with the practical details agreed before confirmation.
What is the minimum age for the pub crawls?
All our pub crawls and bar routes are for people aged 18 and over. Please bring an ID, because bars may ask for it.
Can I join a pub crawl if I am travelling alone?
Yes. Most people on a pub crawl come on their own or in pairs, and the host makes sure everyone meets the group.
What time do the pub crawls start?
In Lisbon around 10 pm and in Porto around 9:30 pm. The exact time and meeting point are confirmed by email with your booking.
Are drinks included?
A welcome drink is included, and partner bars offer drink deals. Other drinks are paid at each bar.
Can you organise a private night for a hen or stag party?
Yes. We plan private nights for groups in Lisbon, Porto, Coimbra, Nazaré and Leiria, with the route, tables and a host for your group. Send us the date and the size of your group.
What happens to the sunset sail if the weather is bad?
If the boat cannot sail safely, you can move to another date or receive a full refund.
